novinka-840The VIZE 97 Foundation continued in the long-term partnership with the Strings of Autumn Festival and Prague Crossroads thus once again hosted one of the concerts of this successful festival as the young American cellist Alisa Weilerstein performed there on September 30, 2012. Alisa Weilerstein has earned a brilliant international reputation for her style of play in which she combines her natural virtuoso ability and technical perfection with passionate musicianship and spontaneous interpretation. Any repertoire performed by her sounds as if it was written specifically for her thanks to the perfect feel that Weilerstein has for the works that she interprets. The absolutely full Prague Crossroads was thus witness to an extraordinary concert that offered compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Zoltán Kodály and Benjamin Britten.
