The traditional Saint Nicholas charity bazaar held by the Dagmar and Václav Havel VIZE 97 Foundation took place this year on the premises of the Prague Crossroads – the desecrated church of Saint Anne in the Old Town. The sixth annual charity bazaar offered, among others, the possibility to purchase Christmas presents in advance while supporting a good cause, plus a whole scope of rare guests, a complimentary music programme, Saint Nicholas distribution of presents and the unique opportunity to see the Prague Crossroads, which is only rarely made accessible to the public.
The moderator of the entire afternoon for the first time this year was the actress Kateřina Hrachovcová – Herčíková, who was leading guests with great charm through the programme and familiarising them with each of the non-profit organisations, their activities and products they produce.
Moreover, Ms. Dagmar Havlová also participated in moderating the event. The event was, like every year, attended by Václav Havel. To increased sales at the booths contributed largely Mrs Kateřina Brožová, Mrs Jitka Čvančarová, Ms Aneta Langerová, Mr Richard Müller, Mr Jan Potměšil and also Mr Jiří Lábus. During the course of the afternoon, the scholarship recipient of the VIZE 97 Foundation – violinist Tereza Přívratská and her colleagues from the Jubilee Quartet, the open choir Cantina – the non-profit organisation project Voicecamp and the MikroChor Lukáše Prchala together with so called the Immediate Film Orchestra under the baton of Mr. Varhan Orchestrovič Bauer. The bazaar ended after 4:00 PM with the distribution of Saint Nicholas’ gifts together with carolling.
